GLOW Holiday Festival is officially open!
The Great Minnesota Holiday Get-Together will run through January 3, 2021 at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. GLOW was designed with the health and safety of our guests and employees in mind, and we are following the recent state orders to ensure our experience is safe for everyone.
GLOW guests will be required to stay in their vehicles throughout our holiday lights drive-thru and the drive-thru food court.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your GLOW entry time.

Getting to GLOW
The entrance to GLOW is at the intersection of Como Avenue & Canfield Street in Saint Paul.
Cars will be directed to line up by ticket time. Look for signs to guide you!
Please arrive 15 minutes before the START of your GLOW time & have your ticket ready to scan.
Where’s my ticket?
Your ticket is a PDF attached to your confirmation email from tickets@universe.com. You may print the PDF or we can scan it from your mobile device.

Where is it?
GLOW Holiday Festival takes place at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The entrance to GLOW Holiday Festival is at Como Avenue & Canfield Street. Look for signage to guide you to the entry. Join us for the Great Minnesota Holiday Get-Together!
How long does it run?
GLOW Holiday Festival opens November 19, 2020 and runs every day through January 3, 2021.
What time is it?
Drive thru entry times begin every 15 minutes starting at 4:30pm each night. The last entry time will be 10:30pm.
How long is the drive thru?
The drive thru portion of GLOW Holiday Festival will take up to 30 minutes to complete. After that, you have the option to visit the drive-thru food court for some flavors of the fair!
What if GLOW is cancelled?
In the event of cancellation, all tickets will be refunded. Your refund will be processed in 10 business days. For questions on this, please reach out to tickets@glowholiday.com.
Is it family/kid friendly?
This is an all ages, family friendly event. All people, young and old, are welcomed and encouraged to join.
How many people are allowed in one vehicle?
No vehicles exceeding 20ft in length, RV’s, commercial vehicles, or buses/party buses are allowed. As a reminder, alcohol is not permitted while attending GLOW. GLOW will allow limousines, however! If you would like a limousine ticket, please contact Group Sales at tickets@glowholiday.com.
Is there a vehicle clearance?
There is no vehicle clearance. However, we may place extra tall vehicles towards the back of the purchased 15 minute time slot.
Do we have to stay in our cars?
Yes. Guests must remain in their vehicles throughout the whole event, including the optional drive-thru food court. (Portable restrooms are available at the entrance and at the end of the drive-thru.)
What is the speed limit?
The pace of the drive thru will be SLOW. There are multiple exhibits that last from 2-4 minutes each.
Can we attend on bicycle or walk-through?
Sorry, no. GLOW Holiday Festival is a drive-thru event and can only be attended in a vehicle.
Do you allow Metro Mobility vehicles?
Yes, we welcome metro mobility vehicles.
What can we bring?
Bring your friends and family, a camera, and a smile! Masks are required while interacting with GLOW staff and food vendors.
What can’t we bring?
In conjunction with the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, GLOW Holiday Festival bans the following on the premises: Illegal substances, alcohol, firearms, weapons of any sort, fireworks, drones, bikes/skateboards/skates. Other items may be refused at the discretion of the State Fair police or GLOW staff.
Are pets welcome?
Pets are discouraged from attending. GLOW features flashes of light and some loud noises that may bother them and there is not a designated pet relief area at GLOW. Pets are not allowed outside your vehicle at GLOW.
What about service animals?
Service animals are allowed and we trust you have proper documentation.
What about smoking?
Smoking or vaping is not permitted at GLOW Holiday Festival.
Are bathrooms available?
Yes, portable restrooms, including ADA restrooms, are available at the entrance of GLOW prior to entering for your time slot. There are also bathrooms located at the end of the one-mile drive thru portion of GLOW.
What are Theme event nights?
The main attraction stops will not change based on the theme. Theme Nights are an opportunity to showcase a local charity, with $2 per ticket going to various community organizations. You can RSVP to themed event nights on our Facebook page.
Are you working with the MPD or SPPD? Will there be a police presence?
GLOW has no affiliation with the MPD or SPPD. GLOW will be staffed by members of the State Fair Police.
Are you serving food and drinks?
We will be offering an optional drive-thru food court with flavors of the fair at GLOW Holiday Festival this year. Vendors listed below.
Will there be alcohol?
No alcohol will be sold at this event and alcohol is not permitted at GLOW.
How much is it?
$46.00 per car plus ticketing fees. Includes entry into the drive-thru food court. Food must be purchased directly from food vendors.
What types of payment are accepted?
All tickets are sold in advance at glowholiday.com/tickets. There are no cash sales and there are no sales at the gate. If tickets are still available, you can purchase online up to 15 minutes before your reserved time spot.
Can I get a refund?
Tickets are non-refundable. Please email tickets@glowholiday.com with any ticketing concerns.
Is there a discount for Seniors or Children?
The price for a ticket to GLOW Holiday Festival is by car, regardless of the occupants.
Where do I get tickets?
Tickets can only be purchased online in advance at glowholiday.com/tickets.
Can I buy/gift tickets for someone else?
Yes, you can buy tickets for a friend or loved one, just purchase tickets and you can use your PDF ticket as the gift!
Are tickets transferable?
Tickets are transferable but they are only able to be used once and are only valid during the specific time slot that was purchased. Please contact: tickets@glowholiday.com for more information.
What about bad weather?
In the unlikely event that the show must be cancelled due to extreme circumstances, you will be notified by email and your ticket can be transferred to a different date/time.
What do I need to check-in?
The PDF ticket that is attached to your confirmation email from tickets@universe.com. This can be scanned from your phone or printed out.
Does each occupant need a ticket?
No. Only one ticket is required per vehicle of attendees.
I bought a ticket online but it hasn’t been sent to me or I can’t find it! Help?

Health and Safety
Are facemasks required?
Masks are required while interacting with GLOW staff. This includes checking-in, scanning tickets, and ordering/receiving your food from the drive-thru food court.
If you exit your vehicle to use the public portable restrooms, masks and proper social distancing are required. Children over the age of 3 are required to wear a mask and follow the same mask guidelines as adults.
Masks are not required inside your vehicle when not interacting with GLOW staff or food vendors.
Will this show affect any specific medical conditions?
GLOW includes loud noises and bright flashing lights.
What health and safety requirements will be in place at the optional drive-thru food court?
GLOW Holiday Festival, the Minnesota State Fair, concessionaires and guests must comply with current Minnesota Department of Health COVID-19 guidelines. Guests who will be placing and paying for food orders are required to wear masks. Concessionaire staff will wear masks and gloves. To ensure social distancing, all guests are asked to remain in their vehicle. Transactions will be conducted at your vehicle window, and the food will be delivered to you. Concessionaires will follow Minnesota Department of Health guidelines for food workers and food establishments, including frequent hand washing and disinfecting and sanitizing work surfaces and customer contact equipment.
I lost something while I was at GLOW, what do I do?
If you are no longer on site, please contact info@glowholiday.com with more information about your lost item. If you are still at GLOW, please visit the on-site office at the Event Center on sELFie Plaza.

How do I access the optional drive-thru food court?
At the conclusion of the holiday lights portion of the drive-thru, you may follow directional signage to either exit the fairgrounds or access the drive-thru food court. Please remain in your vehicle, and order your food through your window with your mask on.
Are you serving food and drinks?
